This book was amazing, putting the reader in the view of Aven our main character and showing us what the life of a person with a disability is like. It shows the readers that even if you are different then others, you are unique and you can live still live an amazing life. It is truly an amazing book. I thought the book was an incredible story. I thought is was an excellent choice going into the perspective of a protagonist that has a disability that draws a lot of unwanted attention to her and showing how she feels about that. It is a great read for grades 5-6 and I highly recommend this book for people who like adventurous stories. Also suggested: Wonder by R.J Palacio
