Mitsi, a Japanese girl, has two best friends, Mags and Judy. Sadly, the bombing of Pearl Harbor interferes with her friendships, and Mitsi and her family will have to be sent to a camp. This is a really good book about a girl, Mitsi, and her dog, Dash. Mitsi is Japanese and when her family is told to leave their home to live in camps Mitsi is worried, but she starts to pack her things. But when Mitsi is told she cannot bring Dash, she is very upset. What will happen to Dash?
