This is my favorite book in the world. It's very beautiful, and tells a slightly unconventional love story. Green uses very clear descriptive language and makes you feel for his characters, makes you understand everything they're going through. I've read this book in 7th grade for the first time, and have read it multiple times since, and each time, I find something beautiful that I didn't notice the other times. There are many metaphors that took me multiple reads to understand. Green also talks about many concepts that may be a little mature for younger teens, but are still things that go on every day, things that people face all the time. Warning: Will most likely make you cry. Sometimes, you read a book and it fills you with this weird evangelical zeal, and you become convinced that the shattered world will never be put back together unless and until all living humans read the book. Green states it here, and as he says, all living humans need to read this book, so go out and read this in order to help fulfill my goal! This book is an amazing book about a young teenager girl named Hazel who is diagnosed with lung cancer and joins a cancer support group that changes her life. She meets a funny, cute, and witty boy named Augustus Waters. He too is suffering from cancer, a rare one and their friendship gets stronger every time they meet. The book is a roller coaster of love, sadness and hope and once you read it till the end, you must read his other books Also suggested: Eleanor and Park
