Put this on your must read list!
Salt to the sea is a great book with an amazing plot with many twists and intertwining characters as it is told from 4 points of view. While reading it I couldn’t put it down, I also had a lot of conflicting feelings about the characters while reading which made the book a lot more interesting than other books I’ve read. The only drawback is that ending is disappointing, it seems very rushed and not as thought through as the rest of the book. Overall I think it is a great book but the ending is not the best it could’ve been.

A multi-perspective story of four teenagers traveling on the William Gustoff, a cruise ship that was used to transport emigrants safely away from the Soviet Union's military advance. The ship was torpedoed by the Soviet Union in World War II and gave multiple perspectives of people with secrets to keep them safe. Also suggested: Between Shades of Gray - Ruta Sepetys
