This book was very thrilling to read, and I found it really hard to put down! It is about a 17-year-old prodigy girl with a talent for problem-solving and working with numbers. However, she ends up getting betrayed by many people in her life who only use her for her gift, and they use her talents to commit big crimes. The book is about how this girl tries to escape from these people, figure out her purpose in life, as well as learn to trust others after being exploited so many times before. The plot to this book has so many different twists and turns in it that it never gets boring. It takes place across different places, such as in Seattle and in Shanghai. It was very entertaining to see what the main character does next there are many sophisticated and well-thought-out actions she takes to make very complex and intelligent decisions. I would highly recommend Calculated by Nova McBee if you’re looking for an exciting and interesting book to read!
