Clockwork Angel is the first book in a series called The Infernal Devices, written by Cassandra Clare, which is a prequel series but written after to The Mortal Instruments. The book is set a few hundred years earlier, and follows the life of one of the characters in The Mortal Instruments, Tessa. This was a great book, and the author did a great job of emphasizing the time period. I also like that there was many conflicts, both internal and external, woven in the story. Over all, a great book.
