This book is about a girl named Charlie who gets a speeding ticket and has to get a job at a beauty parlor to pay it off. She hates it. Suddenly she falls in love with her long time friend Braden. Charlie tries to get over him by hanging out with her friends from work. She meets a guy and starts dating him, but Braden doesn't like him. Charlie makes a lot of mistakes just to get away from Braden and ends up in a lot of trouble. When Charlie finds out the truth about her mother's death things go crazy and only one person can fix it.
