Ouran High School Host Club
by Bisco Hatori
Astounding artwork + perfect dialog and story! This is what comics should all be like!
A few weeks ago I wrote about the first book of the series and how much I love it. I now have finished all 18 volumes. For me, waiting a week until I went to the library was too long. In the book series, Haruhi, a scholarship student at an elite school for rich people, accidently enters the ouran high host's clubroom and is mistaken for a boy due to her short hair and thick glasses. She then breaks a vase that values thousands of yen and has to somehow pay it back. Of course not having the money, she then becomes the club's errand boy. Then, once discovering that without glasses, Haruhi looks somewhat well, Tamaki the club president, along with everyone else, gives Haruhi a new hairstyle and school uniform that make Haruhi look attractive and is then forced to be a host. In the process of the makeover, Hikaru and the Kaoruthe twins, Hunny and Mori the club's third years, find out Haruhi is a girl, while Kyoka the vice president already knew and Tamaki the over-eccentric president only finds out after being told. Overall, this book is great and if you're anywhere close, I highly recommend to check this book out at the library.

Like most of the other manga's I've read, it has humor, and sojo.... Well, I think this book series is really fun to read even though I've only read the first book. In this book, Haruhi, a high school student, mistakenly goes to a music room being used by the Host Club while looking for a quiet place to study. Instead of quiet, she finds Takami, the Host Club King and an annoying idiot; Kyoya, the Host Club Vice President; the twins Hikaru and Kaoru; Mitsukuni, a third year that looks like he's still in grade school; and Takashi, a third year who is always with Mitsukuni. At first appearance, everyone takes Haruhi for a boy, and not until later on find out otherwise. I highly recommend this book. I've only just started, but I'm already urging for my next trip to the library.
