Unwind

Warning - SPOILER!
Unwind is a fast-paced, well-written sci-fi thriller. While it's an action story, characters discuss subjects like struggle with persona beliefs, all while running for their lives, setting it apart from the runaway coming story. However, there are a few things that make me hesitate to recommend this book to younger children. There is one scene where a character is unwound, or taken apart surgically while still awake. It's pretty freakish knowing that once you become unwound your own body parts become a part of somebody else. Adults and doctors, the ones who unwind, are the main threat to children who are to be unwound. This book is well- written and not boring one bit. I would recommend it to anyone who can handle the tough subjects it covers.
