Cate of the Lost Colony is about a young woman who serves the queen of England during the late 1500's. But when the queen finds out that she went behind her back she banish's her to the colony of Roanoke. The English endure extreme hardships during their stay and soon she is wishing she was back in England. Most of the characters and events in the story are real people. It is a great book that gives the reader insight of what hapend to the lost colony of Roanoke.
