Status: Current project
Project Category: Storm
Project Estimated Cost: $200,000
Beaverton Operations and Maintenance staff have an urgent need to abandon an existing outfall and realign the storm drainage system. The existing outfall pipe is collapsing and has extremely poor access which makes maintenance and rehabilitation or replacement work difficult. The existing outfall pipe is a 10” concrete pipe, located between two houses, under a large tree, and outfalls onto steep ground. The ground downstream of the outfall has had significant erosion. The outfall pipe will be realigned to drain to another location nearby.
