FY19-20: City is working with engineering consultant, Pacific Community Design, to design the waterline replacement portion. Construction is anticipated to begin before FY20-21, but may overlap into FY20-21.FY20-21: Construction completed in November of 2020. FY21-22: Easements completed. As-builts submitted.
There is urgent need to have this new waterline installed as the existing 8” waterline was built in 1971 and has already shown significant signs of corrosion and pitting. This was discovered when Operations was asked by the Developer to make a tie-in to this existing system as required for their Site Development plans. Operations is not comfortable touching this waterline due to its condition.
