This regional facility will collect and treat stormwater runoff from a 91.5 acre area of the Central Beaverton Urban Renewal District that will see multiple redevelopment projects and allows them to be built or redeveloped without having to provide on-site stormwater runoff treatment. As a result, the design principles outlined in the Beaverton Downtown Code could more easily occur. In addition, larger regional facilities provide efficient operations and maintenance.
