Storm Drainage: Existing storm pipes are in need of repair and replacement. Many of the storm pipes are difficult to access because they are along sideyards and backyards. Sanitary Sewer: The sanitary sewer pipe is made from transite and some of it has reached the end of its useful life. The sanitary sewer pipes will not need full rehabilitation, but there are several locations where the pipe is broken, and those selected spots will be repaired. Wastewater from this area flows into the City of Portland’s collection system making it ineligible for sewer lateral replacement under the CWS I & I reduction program.
