Project Estimated Cost: $1,950,000
Rehabilitation and replacement of existing sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and water system within the McKay subdivision. Utility replacement in the subdivision will require multiple phases. Preliminary design of alternative alignments is underway to consider priority replacement based on conditions of sewer and storm systems. Design for waterline is underway to replace all of waterline in Rollingwood Estates Neighborhood, except SW Maplecrest Ct. waterline that was recently improved. See status below.
Survey work to begin in FY 19-20. Need to coordinate construction with Operations for pavement overlay of the neighborhood.

FY 19-20: Project placed on hold.FY 20-21: Begin survey and design work.FY 21-22: Pause on continuing design construction plans for waterline design and preliminary design work of sewer and storm. Wait until other higher priority projects are completed. Began work on acquisition of ROW/Easement necessary to construct water system. Contract with Universal Field Services as the ROW agent for the negotiation of easement work.FY 22-23: ROW agent work to acquire waterline easement. Design for waterline tentative schedule is TBD.
The Rollingwood Estates Subdivision was built in the 1950s and 1960s. The existing cast iron water lines have experienced numerous main breaks and is in need of replacement. The waterlines recently withdrawn from TVWD need to be evaluated for replacement as well. The sanitary sewer and storm system need point repairs and rehabilitation or replacement of select lines.
