Conduct a study of the public infrastructure required to support the development of approximately 1,783 acres of land recently added to the Urban Growth Boundary.
Construction of multiple developments underway. Updated sewer master plan was completed in April 2019. Updated water master plan completed in March 2019. Purple-pipe master planning is underway as a part of CIP 4021G.

FY 11-12: Begin concept planning by City staff. FY 12-13: Complete concept planning & preliminary design by City staff. FY13-14: Continue preliminary design and begin draft planning level Master Plan. FY14-15: Continue preliminary design and complete draft planning level Master Plan. FY15-16: Begin site specific engineering investigations and plans as needed. FY16-17 through FY19-20: Continue site specific engineering investigations and plans as needed. Update the South Cooper Mountain (SCM) Sanitary Sewer Master Plan.
The existing public infrastructure for water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage and streets will not support future development. Planning is needed to determine demand, pipe sizes and alignments, the size and location of storage facilities and pump stations (if needed), and cost estimates in order to insure that facilities can be available to support development.
