Design and construct a seven-story, approximately 155,000 square foot, 350-space parking garage on Lot 2 of the Round, located at the northeast corner of Crescent Street and Rose Biggi Avenue. The garage building will also have approximately 7,000 square feet of commercial space.

FY15-16: BURA purchased Lot 2 of the Round in December 2016. The City also owns the abutting parcel, Lot 3, which is the parking for the owners of The Lofts Condominiums. BURA has a contract with Mackenzie to design the parking garage. FY16-17: Schematic design phases were completed.FY17-18: Design development phase was completed in Spring 2018. Preparation of construction contract documents will begin in May 2018.FY18-19: Completed land use process. Submitted and finalized Building and Site Development permits. Construction will be dependent on the timing of construction of the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts (PRCA) on Lot 3 of the Round (CIP 3521).FY19-20: Finalize all permits and begin construction concurrently with the PRCA.FY20-21: Construct project.FY 21-22: Complete construction
A second parking garage at the Round will be necessary to maximize redevelopment potential in the Beaverton Central District and is a significant component of the City’s and BURA’s efforts in creating and vitalizing an 18-hour, mixed use area. The garage would support development efforts in the district by providing parking opportunities for new uses, minimizing development costs as parking could be shared throughout the day and night in one of the two parking garages on site. Replacement of existing parking will be accommodated in the structure upon redevelopment of the parking lots on Lots 2 and 3 of the Round.
