MSTIP: This project will widen Walker Road and Murray Boulevard which are heavily used arterial roads. The current intersection has four travel lanes with a single left turn lane with dual left turn lanes from eastbound Walker road to northbound Murray Boulevard. The intersection of Murray and Walker will be widened to include dual left turn lanes and dedicated right turn lanes on all four approaches at the intersection. A third southbound through lane will also be added to Murray Boulevard from south of Butner Road through the Walker Road intersection. The additional through lane will become a dedicated right turn lane at Bowerman Drive, south of the intersection. See https://www.co.washington.or.us/LUT/TransportationProjects/walker-murray-intersection-project.cfm for more project information.Water: No improvements Sanitary Sewer: Structures need to be adjusted to match design finished grade of improved roadway. There may be some cost share; to be determined at final design.Storm Drain: The proposed storm drain system primarily serves the improved roadway thus it is a roadway expense. There are some betterments needed to the existing storm drain system (major maintenance) that, depending upon the final design details, may require a city cost share. The amount of cost share, if any, will be determined at final design.
