Construct 400 feet of 12-inch waterline and 15 feet of 8-inch waterline on SW Hart Rd from SW Murray Blvd to SW Kimberly Dr. Construct 510 feet of 8-inch waterline on SW Wilson Dr from SW Hart Rd, moving south. Construct 70 feet of 6-inch waterline on SW Kimberly Dr from SW Hart Rd, moving south.

The existing water main is made of cast iron pipe and was constructed between 1968-1969. This water main has experienced numerous breaks in recent years. Corrosive native soils have contributed to a much shorter useful life of the water pipe and fittings. Water Operations staff have rated this waterline a top priority replacement project.
