Project Description

Interconnect the City and TVWD's respective water systems in a vault behind the sidewalk on the south side of SW Walker Road, just east of SW Schendel Avenue.

FY 19-20: Design and coordination with TVWD (including IGA), obtain Washington County Permit, solicit and award project
FY 20-21, Project construction

Project Justification

To adequately serve TVWD Withdrawal Area #4 (Waterhouse area) with City water, additional water capacity is needed to provide an emergency water supply (during a main break) or supplementary fire flow (if necessary). This connection is needed until the first phase of the City's North Transmission Line (NTL) Intertie Project (CIP 4143) is complete (in approximately 2025).
