FY18/19: 12-11-18 Project initiated by D. Winship.
FY 19-20: 12-4-19: Final plans completed. 12-13-19: Advertise project. CIP 4046 and CIP 4168 were combined into a single contract. 12-17-19: Non-mandatory prebid meeting. 1-7-20: Open bids. Subcom Excavating of Hillsboro OR the apparent low bidder. 2-4-20: Contract awarded to Subcom Excavating in the amount of $243,902 for both CIP 4046 and CIP 4168. 2-20-20: Preconstruction meeting. 3-9-20: 1st Notification. Work began on CIP 4046.

Project Justification

Improve water quality by looping the water network to increase circulation in the vicinity. Also increase firefighting capacity by interconnecting waterlines to supply water to the local area from two directions rather than a single dead end on Electric Avenue.
