Install 292 feet of 12-inch DIP waterline in Denney Rd from Rollingwood Dr to the east end of the Bulza Development that will serve as a bypass for an aging 16-inch waterline and ensure uninterrupted service in case of a main break on the 16-inch line.

2-2-18: Developed alignment and bid items. Requested pricing from 4 contractors. 2-9-18: Received proposals. 2-28-18: City awarded contract to Trenchline Excavation. 3-7-18: Began work. 3-20-18. Work completed. City Council approved CCO1 (320 foot extension of 12-inch waterline to Habitat for Humanity) on 3-26-18. Work on CCO1 began on 4-4-18 and was completed 4-13-18. Potholing by City Forces on 4-4-18. Work on CCO2 (cut in 20-inch gate valve at Kemmer Rd & 171st Ave) began on 4-11-18 and was completed 4-16-18.
The existing 16-inch concrete cylinder pipe was installed in 1965 and is nearing the end of its useful life and is in need of replacement. Currently this area, to include the Bulza Development, is served by TVWD; however, the City will soon be the water provider.
