CIP 4151B - Weir Rd 16-Inch Transmission Line 173rd to 165th Ave

Project Description

Install 1,600 LF extension of 16-inch diameter water main on SW Weir Road between SW 173rd to SW 165th Ave as shown along the alignment highlighted below. This project will be done in conjunction with the installation of the 24-inch diameter water main on SW 175th.

Project Schedule

FY 18-19: Complete design, bidding, and begin construction.
FY 19-20: Complete construction of waterline. Waterline work on Weir Rd is expected to begin in Aug 2019.

Project Justification

This project is a part of the improvements that will occur in conjunction with the new Cooper Mountain Reservoir No.2 and associated improvements that will primarily serve the 550 foot and 675 foot upper pressure zones to meet this South Cooper Mountain area's rapidly growing water needs.
