Project Description

Install 4,800 LF of 24-inch diameter water main on SW 175th Ave between Winkleman Park and Alvord Lane as shown along the alignment highlighted below. This project will be done in conjunction with the installation of the 16-inch diameter water main on SW Weir Road between SW 173rd and SW 165th.

Project Schedule

FY 18-19: Complete design, bidding, and begin construction. 5-7-19: Project began.
FY 19-20: Complete construction of waterline. The estimated completion date is Sep 29, 2019.

Project Justification

This project is a part of the improvements that will occur in conjunction with the new Cooper Mountain Reservoir No.2 and associated improvements that will primarily serve the 550 foot and 675 foot upper pressure zones to meet this South Cooper Mountain area's rapidly growing water needs.
