Project Description

Install an intertie with the Willamette Water Supply (WWSP) transmission pipe. Construction prior to WASHCO 209th Ave/234th Ave and TV Hwy Intersection Improvements project to avoid conflicting construction.

Project Schedule

FY17-18: Coordination with WWSP staff concerning project design. City staff to contribute to design as necessary.
FY18-19: Complete design and bid the construction.
FY19-21: Construction. Project delayed due to additional coordination with WWSP for design revisions to 16-inch turnout, first turnout constructed as part of WWSS.
FY 21-22: Project closeout.

Project Justification

Installation of intertie connection with WWSP is necessary to provide redundancy to City water supply in case of emergency and add capacity to the system supply structure.
