The existing waterline has experienced numerous main breaks in the past few years. The old waterline is in need of replacement. Soil samples indicated the presence of iron-eating bacteria so zinc coated ductile iron pipe and copper services with zinc anodes are recommended as a replacement material. City Water Forces have rated this waterline a priority replacement project.
