Develop a preliminary siting study for Cooper Mountain Reservoir No. 3 that will serve the 550 foot pressure zone and complete land acquisition. This future 550 foot pressure zone service area will include portions of the South Cooper Mountain (SCM) service areas and infill within the current 550 zone, Urban Reserve 6B, TVWD Area 3, and potential UGB expansion west of the SCM.
Project under contract with Murray Smith. Kick off in Sep 2018.

The City anticipates that the urban infill within the 544 acres along the south slopes of Cooper Mountain and development of newly incorporated areas will increase water demands and need for additional water storage.
