Project Schedule

FY17-18: The design and permitting phases of the project are underway and are expected to last 12 months.
FY18-19: Complete design and permitting and begin construction.
FY19-20: Continue construction. The construction phase of the project is anticipated to last 18 to 24 months.
FY 20-21: Complete construction.

Project Justification

In November 2016, Beaverton voters approved a ballot measure to construct a modern, earthquake resistant police and emergency management building. The bond measure will not increase residents’ bond tax rate because it replaces the Beaverton City Library construction bonds.
