CIP 5090 - Jenkins Road Widening (158th Ave-Murray Blvd) MSTIP with a City of Beaverton Waterline Extension
Status: Completed project
Project Category: Water
Project Estimated Cost: $500,000
MSTIP: This project will widen Jenkins Road between 158th and Murray to five lanes (two travel lanes in each direction with a center turn lane) and will include continuous bike and pedestrian facilities on both sides of the road. A dedicated right turn lane will be added on Jenkins Road westbound to 158th Avenue northbound. A new bridge is also being proposed at Cedar Mill Creek, just west of 153rd Avenue.
Water: Waterline construction will enable the transfer of water service from TVWD to the City of Beaverton within project limits. The construction includes approximately 1,200 feet of 16" diameter water line, and approximately 100 feet of waterline in the 8" to 12" diameter range. For the bridge crossing section, the 16" diameter line is placed within a 20" diameter steel casing pipe.
Sanitary Sewer: No improvements or changes
Storm Drain: The proposed storm drain system primarily serves the improved roadway thus it is a roadway expense.
