Thank you for applying to the Beaverton Climate Action Task Force. The group will serve as a community engagement forum for the City's climate action work. It will enhance City Council awareness of community perspectives around climate change and provide feedback on the potential impact of climate action-related policies and activities on members of the community. We are seeking community members from a variety of backgrounds with different life experiences and perspectives to foster innovative thinking and help the city make better decisions. The CATF will meet monthly, with the first meeting anticipated in July 2021. Each meeting will last approximately two hours and occur on the third Monday of the month in the evening. Due to COVID-19, CATF meetings will be held virtually until hybrid meeting options are available. We appreciate you taking the time to answer the following questions. This will help us learn a little bit about you and other applicants so we can have a strong, diverse group.
