Wilder Girls

Give it a try, if you have the time.
This was my first time reading a horror novel that had combined elements of feminism and girl power in it. It was a very interesting read that followed the girls of the Raxter School that had been put under quarantine due to a mysterious outbreak disease. I was shocked in the beginning because it sounded similar to the events of the coronavirus. But, as I got deeper into the novel, I discovered elements of lgbtq and queer representation. It was really well done. Overall, I would give this a 3.55. It had a good story but could have delved deeper into some topics. Also suggested: Vanishing Girls by Lauren Oliver
