This book is very good. It takes place in the future, where everyone spends their time inside a virtual world known as the VirtNet. After the main character, Michael, witnesses a girl rip out her Core and kill herself, therefore killing herself in real life, he goes on a mission with two of his friends to stop a person named Kaine from killing innocent people and making everyone AI.
