It was a great book. There is always action with the main characters, so it's fast moving. I think greek myths are really entertaining, so I love how there are so many different gods and monsters in the book! Definite read! Also suggested: Trials of Apollo

The Lightning Thief is an amazing book about the Greek Gods. Percy Jackson finds out he is the kid of one of the Gods. I don't want to tell you which one, so you will need to read the book. Anyways, he goes to a camp called Camp Half Blood to protect him from all the monsters that want to kill him. But Something was stolen from one of the Gods on the Winter Solstice and Percy has to go on I quest to get back by the Summer Solstice which is ten days, and he has to leave the safety of Camp Half Blood. If he fails his quest there will be a war that will leave millions dead. Will he make it in time or will the deadly war start? Also suggested: The Sea of Monsters
