Read this book right now & tell all your friends!
The Hunger Games is a thrilling, fast-paced dystopian novel about Katniss Everdeen, who has thrown herself into an arena of twenty-three other contestants to fight to the death in order to save her sister. This contest, known as the Hunger Games, has torn families apart all for the pleasure of the government, the Capitol. Katniss learns the value of love and determination as she struggles to place her survival over morality. I would recommend this book because although it's very bloody, it's a good lesson for everyone. Also suggested: The rest of the series: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, Catching Fire, Mockingjay. This book is the king of all dystopian books. The main character must compete in a publicized event in which she and 23 other teens will fight to the death. This book may seem kind of scary, but the romance in it helps to ease the violence. If you read it though, you need to read the rest of the series. Also suggested: Catching Fire, The Mockingjay

The Hunger Games came out years ago, and I regretted not reading it when it first came out. A friend of mine showed me part of the movie, which I thought was boring. Then I thought of reading the book instead, and it blew me away! It filled my interests of science fiction and a post-apocalyptic background. It was suspenseful, dramatic, sad, thrilling, and much more. I recommend the book because it represents how someone can speak out against injustice no matter how small you are. The protagonist showed valor, strength, and courage. If you are looking for a book to keep you in suspense, read the Hunger Games. Also suggested: Michael Vey (Series), Hunger Games (Series)

This book is a nail biter! Wonderfully crafted plot keeps readers on the edge of their seats! It is about an extraordinary brave girl who takes her sister's position in the blood thirsty Hunger Games in which 2 people from 12 districts much fight each other in an arena until there is only one survivor left. This is a story of courage, adventure, love, and clever thinking.

I loved how Katniss was willing to take the spot and make sure her sister did not die. That shows how much she loves her sister Also suggested: Divergent
