Warning - SPOILER! It was a really good book. So... Camicazi is on her and th n there was a storm and th n she got lost and sailed onto Ugilthug territory, where she was captured. After that she was put into the breserks treetop prison. The holagans and bogburglares went to search for Camicazi but, there ships broke down and they had to land on Ugilthug territory and then they discuss a love letter ??. So Hiccup pretended he sent it. The end becomes even more complicated but it still an intresting story but, at the end they had a test of wits in the prison cell and the witch guessed that he was Hiccup and Hiccup guessed that she was Alvins mother so they had to do a sword fight in the dark and the witch could see. You should definitely read the rest of the series as well as his book. Also suggested: How to train your dragon series
