This book is amazing. If you are looking for a continuation of the first book, The Giver, then this...is not the book for you. However, if you're hoping to read another tale just as inspiring as the first installment, go get this book NOW. The beginning of Gathering Blue is slow, I won't lie, but it is necessary, and if you push through, you'll be left with an intricate dystopian tale, with unpredictable characters who you will truly love.
