This book had me excited and engaged right from the start! I really enjoyed the anticipation and suspense that was consistent throughout. The mysterious vampire attacks that occur had me feeling worried and scared from the beginning to the end. It was interesting to get more insight on Rose's love life, which was even more complicated in this 2nd book. I feel as if this book was the beginning of a thrilling, crazy war between the vampires. A war that is no where close to being over. Also suggested: Vampire Academy
