Current Description

City of Beaverton, aerial view about 1922. The bandstand was moved from Braodway Street when the Fisher Building was constructed. To the right of the bandstand is a small structure - City Hall. The large white building with the stairway is the Ray Morse Hall. A little down from the center to your right is the large Cady building on Watson Ave going vertically and Farmington Road going horizontally. This is looking southeast. City Hall is located at the NE corner of West St / Canyon Rd. The single RR track running below (north) of City Hall runs between the present day train tracks at Lombard/Farmington and Cedar Hills/Thayer. You can see the alignment where those tracks used to run (along Millikan Way and through Canyon/Hall). The tracks do not exist today.
