BUSINESS ROUNDTABLE  

SEPTEMBER 16, 2002

CALL TO ORDER:

The Beaverton City Council was called to order by Mayor Rob Drake in the First Floor

Conference Room at City Hall, 4755 SW Griffith Drive, Beaverton, Oregon, on

Monday, September 16, 2002, at 5:40 p.m for a business roundtable meeting on

Business Incubators.  

ROLL CALL:

Present were Mayor Rob Drake, Couns. Fred Ruby, Evelyn Brzezinski, Dennis Doyle,

Forrest Soth and Cathy Stanton.  Also present were Council Candidate Betty Bode,

Chief of Staff Linda Adlard, Economic Development Manager Janet Young and City

Recorder Sue Nelson.  

INTRODUCTIONS:

Chief of Staff Linda Adlard introduced the speakers for the program: Patricia J.

Huber, Director and Fred Phillips, Professor from the Center for Entrepreneurial

Growth-OGI/Oregon Health & Science University. She also introduced John Moore,

Moore Consulting, and John Spencer, Spencer & Kupper, City consultants.

PRESENTATION AND DISCUSSION:

Ms. Huber and Mr. Phillips presented a Power Point presentation on City

Run/Sponsored Business Incubators and answered Council questions.

ADJOURNMENT:

There being no further business to come before the Council at this time, the meeting

was adjourned at 7: 15 p.m.
